After President Trump’s push to make good on his campaign promises of cracking down on the illegal immigrants living in the United States, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) began conducting raids across the country that targeted Sanctuary Cities.
On Feb 18, 2017 in Los Angeles, people gathered in protest at City Hall in Downtown Los Angeles after ICE organized raids within their communities that resulted in arrests of more than 100 people. Hundreds more were arrested throughout the country.
